hi i uh i saw ur profile and i felt compelled to ask as someone who's trying to get back into metal, what bands do u reccomend?? i previously was really into metallica (basic as shit sorry), slayer, black sabbath and montey crue.. i think these are mostly rock'n'roll thou so.. if you have any music suggestions i would love that :hail:

Replied on: October 6, 2026 at 1:33:18 AM

AW HI!!! I think Metallica is wonderful (its not basic don't worry!!) and I'm a HUGE Slayer fan as well!! I mostly am privy to thrash and sludge metal but on a more boring day metalcore & numetal are great !! If you prefer heavier stuff with pig growl vocals, grind bands like Amputated, White Chapel, Cradle of Filth and Gojira are great. But please please be careful. Some album covers from lesser known bands can be super gross and I do NOT condone it at ALL. Some of my FAV metal bands though are Acid Bath, Loathe, Lacuna Coil (if you're into goth metal) Lamb of God and Lorna Shore <33 Tysm for asking this was so fun to answer !!
